Internet Enhancement for Anesthesiologist Assistants

Are you an Anesthesiologist Assistant and need to see who is listed with the Department of Health as your supervising physician(s)? Well, the answer has arrived. You can now see this information 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

  • Here's how:
    • Go to www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa
    • Click on Citizen/Consumer Assistance
    • Click on Licensee Lookup
    • Click on Licensee Lookup (again)
    • Complete the information to pull up your license number
    • Click on the tab at the top called, "Supervising Practitioners" to display your supervisor
NOTE: By clicking on the physician's license number, you can verify that your supervisor has a clear/active license and is eligible to serve as a supervising physician.

Now that you have reviewed your supervising practitioners, are changes needed? Remember, you are required to make changes within 30 days.

  • Here's how:
    • Go to www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa
    • Click on Current License Holders
    • Click on Profession Updates
    • Click on Anesthesiologist Assistants
    • Click on Current Licensees - From here you can open the Anesthesiologist Assistant Protocol Form, print it, make the necessary changes and mail it to:
